I realized today as I tried to run one mile that I am one of those people that are "skinny-fat." I may look pretty skinny but I'm not healthy. I ran it in about 12 minutes, which isn't too bad considering I haven't (couldn't because of pregnancy problems) worked out in a year... but I used to be able to run it in less than 8 minutes. That's my first goal- be able to run a mile at an average speed of 8 mins per mile AND more than just one mile.
My dad and I actually want to do a half marathon this coming spring, so that will give me more motivation!!!
Running... I've never been a big fan but I've heard you can get addicted to it... hmmm... maybe in a few months I'll be writing about my new addiction!! :)
